Mercenary Two-Pack Skinset Compatability

Good gravy! Can it be true? An actual.... UPDATE?!?!? Golly-gee-wiz! It's been over a year!

Don't get your undies in a bind. Yes, it's true. Just wanted to let you all know that the Mercenary Two-Pack Skinset is 100% compatible with JA. With it installed, Kyle will be sporting his Mercenary threads. Beats the Bantha Herder look any day, if ya ask me.

As far as the website itelf goes, I'm working on a complete overhaul at the moment. You'll probably see something substantially different sometime after Christmas.

Anyhoo, I've opened up a new business. www.smr-ti.com. There's something there for everyone. And with the holidays so close, it's the perfect timet do your last minute shopping. But since half of you probably aren't old enough to have a credit card, let your mom look it over. As she'd probably more appreicate more of the stuff than you would.

Teeheehee... Happy Holidays, everyone.

Oh yes... The forums are also back online. Been so for about a year now. '-p

Forums Down

No surprise to anyone's who's been trying the forums lately. My host is currently updating our forums. So, the surprisingly informative SMR-TI forum won't be available for a little while. Don't quite know when it'll be back up, but I'll link it right back up as soon as my host gives it the okay.

Skins A-plenty

I'm proud to host a new skin until JKII.net brings it up. Vandori has developed an awesome Dark/Light Jedi Kyle variant for your downloading pleasure. This one's highly anticipated, and you'll get it right here first. Where do you get it? You see that nav menu to the left? Click on Hosted Skins, and you'll be able to download Vandori's Kyle variant, along with JRA Wolf's Classic Dark Kyle.

And that's not all. I've been dabbing around in skinning also, and I'm please to announce a joint venture between me and the very, very talented Infinity_blade. We've both designed a more interesting Single Player variant to the single player Kyle and Jan skins, and we thought it would be appropriate to combine the two into a single skin pack, entitled "The Mercenaries". It will be released soon. Very soon. Check back. Here's a preview.

In the mean time, please check out Vandori's awesome skin. Enjoy.

Wadaya Know? An Update...

Heya, folks. Been a while, eh?

Anyway, no, this isn't a major update. College and a job sure eats up a guy's time. But hey, I
am fooling around with some new software. I'm hoping to spruce up the ol' homestead in the coming weeks. So, don't freak out when you see some weird stuff popping up on the site. (By the way, check out the new kick-arse logo!) Who knows? Maybe I'll actually start on another project!!! Oh, rapture seize me...

On a side note, I'm gonna check out the new Star Wars RTS game coming out on Tuesday - Star Wars: Battlegrounds. Looks pretty keen. I'm also partial to that new Hot Date thingie coming out for TheSims. Man, oh, man... Thank god for money (for the games, of course...).

Until the next update.

Party Crashing, Anyone?

Hey, I told you I'd be back. Anyway, processing's done. And we can thank our friend Lt. Guilo for taking the time to convert a 35 meg AVI file into a nice little 4.76 meg Quick Time clip. Saves you on the download time. CLICK HERE to download the clip. It's a scene from the Japanese version of Final Fantasy X for the PlayStation 2. Them Japanese really know how to crash a party, but with a little help from me, they crash it - Star Wars style!

I know it ain't much, but it's something. I gotta go to college now. Knock yourselves out. Oh, and check out Final Fantasy X once it hits your area early next year. I heard it's quite good.

Forums Fixed & Life Goes On

That's right. The forums are up and running the way they're supposed to be (thanks to the local web hosting guru, Nob Akimoto). It looks pretty slick. And no, you don't need to be a registered forum member to post threads or replies. But membership is required if you want to get active on the others. Mine's special. Teeheehee.... So, if you have a quick question or suggestion, feel free to stop by and drop it off at the forum. I'm here several times a day.

Secondly, I've switched to a new time scheme - GST, or Global Standard Time. If you're one of those weirdoes who likes to critique when a guy updates his page, I just made your life a bit easier.

Now I'm just letting you all know that I'm starting college now. What does that mean? Pretty much nothing since I haven't been updating as often as I'd like. And I'm writing a book on the side to boot. So, will I be churning out more projects? I think so. But when I start, time will become a precious commodity. I just might think about recruiting a helper or two.
POSSIBLY.

But I have a little something for you guys. It's being processed as we speak. So you can expect it either later on today or on Friday. Oh, and it's a little video for you Final Fantasy and Star Wars fans by the way.
